Transformative Focusing is the art of being present with yourself and a Focusing partner facilitating both processes in a safe and caring environment. You develop skills in empathic listening to support your partner as well as developing trust in your own Focusing process.

Personal Coaching
"Finding Yourself through Focusing"
This 10 session personal coaching process is designed to help you find your inner voice and authentic self. Based on Gene Gendlins's seminal book Focusing and the best-selling book by Helene Brenner I Know I'm In There Somewhere, this course will help you discover and express what you truly want and value, guiding you towards your own unique Inner Voice.
Learn:
- how to embrace, rather than fix or ignore, your Inner Voice
- how to distinguish the Outer Voices (expectations of people around you) from Your Inner Voice (your true self)
- what to do when you feel that the essence of who you are is being stifled by external demands and expectations
- strengthening gentle acceptance of yourself and all of your feelings as the gateway to lasting change
- to create a safe and sacred space within
- how to return to yourself in times of stress and confusion
- how to bring yourself into a clearer space for self-connection, clarity and relaxation
You will learn to listen deeply to yourself and others, sense for what your body knows, trust your intuition, stay connected to yourself in times of confusion and stress, and experience the quality of accepting 'what is' while finding the life-forward movement in any situation.
For $750 you will receive 10 one-to-one sessions, between session email support and your own copies of Helene Brenner and Gene Gendlin's books. If you want to journey with a friend I can support you both for just $500 each or for an intimate group of 4 for $300 each.
Focusing is a step by step process for learning to pay attention to the bodily-felt way that we carry the situations and problems of our lives. Out of this new kind of deep inward attention, come change steps that can actually be felt. These steps open us to new choices, new possibilities, and new ways of living.
