In this, 2 day workshop, you will learn the basic skills of Focusing, fully supported, and with plenty of opportunity to practice. You will learn about being the focuser, being the listener, and focusing on your own. Y Introduction to Focusing and exploring where Focusing can support you in your life Y The Focusing Attitude and finding ways to be in Presence with yourself Y The 6 Focusing Steps and connecting to what your body knows about the whole of your issues and concerns through your Felt Sense Y Focusing Together by learning to listen inwardly and practicing empathic listening with a partner Y Gaining Confidence accessing your felt sense and learning to stay with your felt senses in such a way that it is able to offer information, insight and release. Y Consolidation, coaching and creating partnerships The group size is usually between 4 and 8 participants. There are demonstrations, opportunities for each person to practice Focusing and listening and there is plenty of time to discuss what happens in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
